Orange Dot Quilts was created in 2015 by Dora Cary, a Romanian-born engineer and designer. Dora moved to the United States in 2001 and discovered her passion for quilting in 2006. She now has 20 quilt and bag patterns with more in the process!

Dora's style of quilting is a bit different than the traditional way but works exceptionally well. Her Trunk Shows are fun and innovative, showcasing her piecing and fresh color coordinating techniques.

Dora, much like us, loves quilting for the creativity and freedom of expression it offers, as well as the quilting community for the generosity and amazing friendships formned over the years. Her quilts have a contemporary look while still utilizing traditional patterns and reinterpreting them in a new and fresh way.
